Sun, snow, nature
Where to ski and more
The San Martino di Castrozza Ski Area is inside the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Nature Park. You can experience the excitement of skiing together with your whole family in this wonderful setting during your winter holidays with Villa Speronella. The slopes extend for more than 60 kilometers, and there are 2 snow parks, 2 children’s play areas and 22 lifts powered by 100% green hydroelectric energy.
Among the most beautiful slopes in the Dolomiti Superski carousel, for experienced skiers we recommend you try:
- “Fantasia 2000,” 5 km of pure adrenaline skiing down from 2,345 meters at Punta Tognola to 1,411 meters in the valley;
- “Cristiania,” served by a new gondola lift (for winter 2024-2025), with always perfect snow thanks to its northern exposure, along the “Carosello delle Malghe” (Dairy-hut Carousel), leading to the Ces-Valcigolera ski area;
- “Paradiso” at Passo Rolle, a spectacular black ski run with an unmissable snowy panorama.
If you love cross-country skiing, you will find 30 km of Nordic ski trails not only in San Martino di Castrozza, but also in Passo Rolle, at Lake Calaita, in Cereda and Imèr, both with night lighting.
And you can enjoy the truest nature by walking through the magical snow-covered forest in snowshoes (craspe in dialect). A mountain guide will not only accompany you safely, but also tell you how precious this world-famous Dolomite environment is.
